The Novella Story

Hello, my name is Janet Conrad. I started creating jewelry several years ago when a friend of mine sparked an interest and I've been studying jewelry design ever since. I've found my love and obsession in creating pieces that speak volumes about the wearer. My work is only created from fine metals and quality materials as that is the only kind of jewelry I will wear myself.

Novella was my mother's name. She was a beautiful lady with grace and poise. She has inspired me to create pieces of beauty that she would love. The word "Novella" means "short story". The jewelry we wear speaks volumes about each of us. Our jewelry needs to feel right to us and it makes us feel good about how we look. Novella Jewelry will say much about the individual wearing it. That's why our motto is "Wear Your Story".

I am actually an Operating Room Registered Nurse. I've been a nurse for over 25 years. I hope to retire from the Operating Room and put all of my time into creating and designing my jewelry. I have jewelry in many of the local jewelry stores in Massachusetts. One of the nicest compliments I ever received was when a jewelry store owner looked at one of my pieces and immediately knew he wanted to buy it for his own wife. I love working with brides and helping them design one-of-a-kind pieces that will be a part of make their wedding day as special as they are.
